                 SURVEY ON WORK-LIFE BALANCE
A survey was conducted recently by Shakti, an initiative of Vijnana Bharati, to empower women through science and technology, working as a pan-India organisation, along with Drishti Stree
Adhyayan Prabodhan Kendra, Pune, on work-life balance of women scientists from all over India. It threw up some interesting observations about the life of women scientists. Answers of some of the questions relevant to the theme
are given below:
The data shows that 47.06% respon-
dents got the help of their spouse for household work. In-laws helped 17.65% respondents. 31.37% respondents got help from parents, while 5.88% got
