The scientific landscape in In­dia has evolved remarkably, compelled by the contribu­tions of numerous trailblazers who have significantly advanced various fields. Women have played important roles in science and technology (S&T), but their efforts have frequently gone un­acknowledged. Historically, women in science have faced substantial obstacles, from cultural norms to limited access to education and professional opportu­nities.
