Chintamani Nagesa Ramachandra Rao, born on June 30, 1934, turns 87 this year. Recently, he was announced as the recipient of the prestigious International Eni Award for Energy Research 2021, considered the ‘Nobel Prize in Energy Research’ by the international scientific community due to the prestige associated with its awardees.
